Mai Tategami made her Orchestra debut performing with Maestro Yutaka Sado when she was 14. She has won prizes at numerous competitions, winning the ABC Music Audition, 1st Prize at the Children Violin Competition (Japan), 3rd prize at the SMF International Music Competition (U.S), Special Prize at the Japan Mozart International Competition, and 2nd Prize at the Matsukata Music Award. She received the “Dosekai Award” from the Tokyo University of the Arts when she graduated there in 2011. 立上舞14岁时首次与尤塔卡·萨多大师一起演出乐团。她曾在众多比赛中获奖，获得ABC音乐试演奖、儿童小提琴比赛（日本）一等奖、SMF国际音乐比赛（美国）三等奖、日本莫扎特国际大赛特别奖、松田音乐奖二等奖。2011年毕业时，她获得了东京艺术大学的"Dosekai奖"。
More recently, she won the first edition of the “Orford Music Prize” and the “Fondation Yehudi Menuhin Prize” in Canada, about which the Music Director of the Orford Music Prize Mr. Wonny Song commented to Catherine Montambeault of La Tribune：“She has incredible charisma.” She also received the Special Prize at the Johannes Brahms International Competition and Ibolyka-Gyarfas Violin Competition (Germany) and the Finalist Prize at the International Violin Competition “Andrea Postacchini”.最近，她在加拿大赢得了"奥福德音乐奖"和"叶胡迪·梅努欣基金会奖"的第一名。奥福德音乐奖的音乐总监 Wonny Song 先生对《论坛报》的凯瑟琳·蒙托博说："她有不可思议的魅力。” 她还获得了约翰内斯·勃拉姆斯国际比赛和伊博利卡-贾尔法斯小提琴比赛（德国）的特别奖和国际小提琴比赛"安德烈亚·波斯特奇尼"的入围奖。

As a chamber music player, Mai Tategami is invited to the Musique de Chambre à Giverny in 2018. She also received the Best Chamber Music Award at the Pablo Casals Music Festival (France). Mai Tategami also has a great interest in orchestras. She was a concertmistress of the Seiji Ozawa Ongakujyuku Orchestra, and became an Academy Student and temporary contract member of the Rundfunk Sinfonieorchester Berlin. In the 2015/16 season, she played in the first violin section of the Beethoven Orchester Bonn. Since the 2016 season, she has been a member of the Saito Kinen Orchestra (Director: Seiji Ozawa). After graduating from the Hochschule für Musik “Hanns Eisler” (2012) and obtaining her Master’s from the University of the Arts Berlin as the top student (2015), she finished her studying at the University of the Arts Vienna (postgraduate) under Prof. She has studied with Prof. Koichiro Harada, Prof. Aaron Rosand, Prof. Gerard Poulet, Prof. Takashi Shimizu Prof. Axel Gerhardt and Prof. Michael Frischenschlager. 从"Hanns Eisler"（2012年）中学毕业后，作为顶尖学生从柏林艺术大学获得硕士学位（2015年），在维也纳艺术大学（研究生）的毕业。她曾受教于原田小一郎教授、亚伦·罗森德教授、杰拉德·普莱特教授、高桥世石教授、阿克塞尔·格哈特教授和迈克尔·弗里申施拉格教授。 Mai Tategami has traveled internationally, performing recitals in many major cities, most notably Tokyo, Osaka, Berlin, Salzburg, Hamburg and Toronto. Through Orford Music, she has received concert engagements in Canada, one of which is at the Mooredale Series in Toronto. As well, she will appear in many other concerts in Canada, Europe, Asia, and South Africa.
Mai Tategami 曾在国际上许多主要城市演出独奏会，其中最著名的是东京、大阪、柏林、萨尔茨堡、汉堡和多伦多。通过奥福德音乐，她受邀去加拿大演出音乐会，其中一场是在多伦多的摩尔代尔系列。此外，她还将出现在加拿大、欧洲、亚洲和南非等许多国家的音乐会上。
She was one of the scholarship students from YAMAHA Music Foundation, Rohm Music Foundation, Nomura Music Foundation and the Japan Cultural Affairs.
